How does a business owner keep track of all the things they need to do running their business AND monitor their website for security updates, uptime, performance, backups, broken links, and SEO ranking? Your website is a key marketing tool for your business. It needs continuous monitoring to keep it up and running, and secure.

Here are the things we take care of for you:

• Regular backups – we run a backup of your site weekly or every 24 hours depending on your plan.  We also keep historical backups for at least one month, should we ever need to go back to an older version of the website.
• Security watch – we track any attempted site attacks. We scan for Malware and we verify your site is clean on a daily basis. To head off hackers, we update plugins that have security holes as soon as we find out about a security issue.
• Traffic Statistics – we connect to your Google Analytics and provide you with a summary of your website analytics each month.
• Core & Plugin Updates – we update WordPress, and plugins on a monthly basis. If we find an issue we roll back the update to the latest backup and troubleshoot any problems. If a plugin cannot be updated because of a conflict with your site, we will notify you with options.
• Small Site Fixes – if we find a broken image, or some kind of problem that is a quick fix, we will take care of it for you.
• Access to Premium Paid Plugins – as a client of our Core or Elite Website Care Plans, we pay for a number of premium plugins on your website. This can save you hundreds of dollars in yearly fees as we pay for the developer licenses each year.
• Performance – we check your site for performance issues. If we find problems that slow your site down we will let you know what needs to be done to fix the issue. Google loves a fast loading site, so by having a slow site you could be missing out on great placement in the Search Engines.
• Optimizing Database and Removing Spammy Comments – we clean up spammy comments from your site and run a database optimization program to keep everything running smoothly.

Common Questions

Can I cancel at anytime?

Our WordPress Website Care Plans are billed monthly at the beginning of each month. If you wish to cancel at anytime, just let us know before the next billing cycle and we will stop services.

What if I need updates made to my site beyond the scope of the care plan?

As a WordPress Website Care Plan client we offer custom website updates to your site at a discounted rate of $175 per hour. We only bill for the time taken and nothing more.

For clients not on a Care Plan the cost is $250 per hour.

Can I add more websites to the plan?

Each plan is for a specific domain or subdomain for one site. If you have multiple websites then we offer a discount for more than 3 sites, please contact us.

How do I securely send you my logins?

Our team will be in touch with a secure way to send us logins.

Do you manage WooCommerce sites or custom built websites?

Yes, we manage all kinds of WordPress websites. We do not offer services under this plan for WordPress multi-sites but everything else should be fine. If in doubt send us an email and we can take a look before you commit.

Can I choose to host my website elsewhere?

Yes! While we include hosting on our server, if you need to stay with an existing host, we will do our best to accommodate that. We have worked with all kinds of hosts over time. Rarely, we encounter issues where the plan cannot be implemented due to a conflict with your hosting company. However, we will identify any potential issues before charging you for your first month of service. Please be aware that some hosting companies perform better than others. If we are addressing site speed issues, we may suggest our hosting or another hosting partner to help you achieve faster website performance.

How do I request other website updates?

You can either email us at [email protected] or once we install our care plan plugin on your website, you can send a request via the plugin.

What happens to the premium plugins on the care plan when I cancel?

We cannot continue offering our plugin licenses for free once you cancel your monthly plan. We can deactivate the plugin from the site, or give you an opportunity to purchase a new license to keep the plugin active on the website.

Do you offer this service for websites that are not on WordPress?

We do not. We have chosen to become experts in WordPress and to do that we have focused on WordPress websites for nearly 20 years, so that is where our expertise lies.

Reporting

Our monthly reports are sent to your email account. You may need to add our email to your whitelist in order not to have them go to spam. Reports come from [email protected].

Each report starts with a summary and then details the work we have done on the website for the time period.

Included in the report is; traffic for the month, site and plugin updates uptime monitoring, backups, security, and performance analysis.
